The Erin Trio will be playing an afternoon show on St Patricks day 2010 at MJ Finnegans, Darby Street, Newcastle.

This event will mark the 10 year anniversary of the band.

The Erin Trio will be performing at a special pre St Patricks day event at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club on Saturday March 13 2010.

The Erin Trio will be performing a half-hour set at the 2009 Relay For Life at Glendale Sports Centre on the 7th of November 2009.

The Erin Trio are proud to announce a new series of bookings at the Hunter River Hotel.

The Trio will be performing at the Hotel on the last Sunday of the Month in September and November 2009 and  January 2010.

Irish music will fill the beautiful Sisters of Mercy Chapel in Singleton
when the ‘Erin Trio’ presents a concert on Sunday 3rd May.

The concert will celebrate the Irish heritage of the founding Sisters of
Mercy in Singleton, whose Convent building turns 100 this year.

The concert will be at 2pm on Sunday 3rd May in the Sisters of Mercy Convent Chapel, Queen St, Singleton. Tickets include afternoon tea and are $25 adults, $20 concession and $5 for school students.

The Erin Trio will be performing at the Newcastle Foreshore Fiesta Stage as part of the 2009 Australia Day celebrations.

The trio will start their 45 minute set at 9:50 AM.

Erin will be performing at the Merriwa Sports Club on Saturday the 18th of October from 9PM.

The sports complex is located at King George V Ave, Merriwa.

The full five piece band will be reunited after their successful Victorian tour in March this year.

Accompanied by award-winning musician, teacher and University of Newcastle Chamber Choir Director, Dr Philip Matthias, ERIN’s lead vocalist will indulge her love of Early music and perform lyrical works of Purcell and Handel as well as a few gems from more recent years at a concert at St John’s Anglican Church, Parry St (cnr Darby St), Cooks Hill this Sunday, July 27 from 7.30pm.

The second part of the concert will give the audience a taste of of traditional Irish tune and song  from the Erin Trio.  If we’re really lucky, we may even be joined by some other great local folk musicians.  So bring your friends and come along this Winter night to warm the cockles of your heart the way the Irish know best - with fine music and superb company!  Sorry - the Guinness and whiskey will have to be enjoyed a little later on…!

Proceeds will assist Bernadette’s study in England next month at the Dartington International Summer School where she has been accepted into Singing Masterclasses with internationally acclaimed Soprano Emma Kirkby.
